Some friends in a WordPress Facebook group were posting about how to show your business website on your personal Facebook account so that folks who may not yet be “friends” can see what you do. If you aren’t sure what your website looks like to the public (people who aren’t “friends):
Go to the View Activity Log
Click on View As
See what the outside world sees when they come to your Facebook page.
Are folks able to get in touch with you?
If you want your website address, or other info, to appear in this area for viewing of the general public:
- Click on the ABOUT tab on your Facebook page.
- Select “Contact and Basic Info”
- Enter in your website information
- Select “Public” and save your changes
- Then go back and check to see what “public viewers” see when they visit your site.
