Here are the steps to create your YouTube Account. It’s important to note that this account will be linked to your personal account – to your gmail address, and the names you choose for your YouTube Account cannot be changed. So for the long haul you might want to put your YouTube Account in your name rather than as a current project, which could change.
YouTube will be linked to your gmail account, which is also linked to your Google+ profile. You can create numerous, separate Google+ PAGES. It’s like Facebook, you have a personal profile and then you can create Multiple Facebook pages.

How to Set Up Your YouTube Account for a Client
Often, folks ask me to set up their YouTube Account for them. With friends, I might log in using their own gmail account, but this feels unprofessional with clients. So here is a workaround:
First, create a Google+ brand page for your client (if they don’t already have one).
Then go to YouTube.
Create a Channel with a Business or Brand name
Go to your channel list. Choose the Brand Account from the List and Select OK.
Then add Channel Art and Description. Note: The size of the image for Channel Art is 2560 x1440.
Begin uploading videos. You can invite client to be a manager of the account in the Overview page in Account Settings.
